Welcome to Bookiversum!
Please read these Terms of Service carefully, as they contain important information about your rights and cover areas such as warranty liability, shipping methods, and the right of withdrawal.
When making a purchase, you will be asked to accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
SECTION 1 - DEFINITIONS

Customer – a natural person, legal person, or organizational unit placing an order in the Store.
Consumer – a natural person making a purchase for purposes not directly related to business activity.
Contract – a distance sales contract concluded through the Store.
Product – products offered in the Store.
Working days – Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays.

SECTION 3 - CUSTOMER ACCOUNT
Creating an account is voluntary. The Customer agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information. The Customer is responsible for the security of their account and password. The account may be deleted at the Customer's request.
SECTION 4 - PRODUCTS AND PRICES
All prices listed in the Store are gross prices (including VAT). Prices do not include shipping costs, which are provided when placing the order.
We have made every effort to ensure an accurate representation of the products and services we offer in our online stores. However, please note that the colors and appearance of products may differ from those displayed on your computer screen due to the type of device you are using to access the store, as well as your device's settings and configuration.
SECTION 5 - SUBSCRIPTIONS
Some items in our store may be offered as subscriptions. The cancellation policy specifies how you can change or cancel these types of orders.
Subscriptions
Once you purchase a subscription, you will receive recurring deliveries based on the subscription duration and frequency you have selected. Your payment details will be securely stored, and you will be charged for each of these deliveries unless you choose to pay in advance.
Subscriptions may be time-limited or unlimited. Always check the specific subscription page for this information.
When you sign up for a subscription, you will usually receive the current box in the series on the next shipping date, but there are exceptions – some subscriptions that include subsequent volumes by a single author may always be shipped starting with volume 1. Always check the specific subscription page for this information.
Subscription boxes are shipped on the 2nd of each month, and new subscriptions are accepted up to 4 days before the scheduled shipping date. After that, we will charge a flat fee every month or quarter, and you will receive subsequent boxes in the series.
If you subscribe less than 4 days before the next shipping date, you will receive your first box the following month. After the first two boxes, you can cancel your subscription at any time.
Examples:
Monthly subscription purchased on May 15th -> The first payment is due on May 15th, the first box is delivered to you on June 2nd. The second box is delivered on June 2nd/3rd, and the second box is delivered on July 2nd.
Monthly subscription purchased on May 31st -> The first payment is due on May 31st, the first box is delivered to you on July 2nd. The second box is delivered to you on July 2nd. The second box is delivered to you on August 2nd.
Quarterly subscription purchased on May 31st -> The first payment is due on May 31st, the first box is delivered to you on July 2nd. The second box is delivered to you on July 2nd. The second box is delivered to you on October 2nd.
If you wish to cancel or change your subscription, you can do so after paying for and receiving the first two boxes in your subscription. Your order confirmation email contains links to your order. You can manage your subscription from there. Please review our returns policy for more information on returns and costs.
CHAPTER 6 – COMPLAINTS AND RETURNS
Complaints
Complaints regarding non-conformity of goods with the contract can be submitted by email to: info@bookiversum.com or in writing to the Seller's address. The Seller will consider the complaint within 14 days of its receipt. The consumer may request: repair of the goods, replacement of the goods, a price reduction, or withdrawal from the contract (if the defect is significant). The basis for a complaint is the non-conformity of the goods with the contract in accordance with Articles 43a–43g of the Consumer Rights Act.
Returns
In addition to the possibility of filing a complaint or withdrawing from the contract, and without limiting the rights of the Consumer under the law, your purchases are subject to return or exchange in accordance with our returns policy. We have a 30-day returns policy, which means you have 30 days from receipt of the goods to request a return.
Damage and Problems
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if an item is faulty, damaged, or you received the wrong item so that we can assess the issue and rectify it.
Exchanges
The quickest way to ensure your order is returned is to return the item and purchase a new item separately after your return has been approved.
14-Day Withdrawal Period in the European Union
Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods. The consumer is responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. A sample withdrawal form is available HERE. Your goods must be in the same condition in which they were received, unused, with all labels attached, and in their original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase will also be required.
Refunds
We will notify you after we receive and inspect your return. Once a refund has been approved, it will be processed automatically via your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card company may also need some time to process and process the refund. If more than 10 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at info@bookiversum.com.
If you are not satisfied with the resolution of your complaint, refund, or withdrawal from the contract, we encourage you to contact us again to try to resolve the matter amicably. However, you may also seek assistance from the dispute resolution bodies, details of which are available on the European Commission website.
SECTION 7 – PAYMENTS
The Bookiversum online store (bookiversum.com) does not process payment data directly. Payments are processed through third-party payment processors. The payment processor is:
1. Shopify Payments (a service provided by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., based in Ireland). Payment card details are encrypted and processed directly by the operator, without the store's access to the full card details. Supported payment methods:

2. Przelewy24 is: PayPro S.A., ul. Pastelowa 8, 60-198 Poznań, NIP 7792369887, REGON 301345068.
Available payment methods on Przelewy24 include: fast online transfers, BLIK, payment cards, and e-wallets.
The order is processed after payment is received.
SECTION 8 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Bookiversum ships via InPost to parcel lockers and by courier to the specified address, to the following countries: Poland, Austria, Belgium, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Portugal, Hungary, and Italy. Shipments to the following countries are shipped via FedEx, GL, DPD, UPS, or DHL: Germany, Czech Republic. Shipping always takes place from a warehouse in Krakow.
Available options:
InPost parcel locker, InPost courier to the specified address, Standard courier to the specified address (some international shipments).
For larger orders, especially for Business collections, shipping costs may be flat-rate or included in the box price. Contact us!
International shipping is currently available within Europe only to the countries listed above. Contact us if you would like to order a product to another country, and we will check the options for you. The store will automatically block order completion to a country other than the one indicated above.
Orders are packed and shipped without undue delay, usually within 2 business days of placing the order. InPost delivery time in Poland: 1-2 business days. This means your parcel will reach you in 3-4 business days. During holiday or premiere periods, the delivery time may be extended by 1-2 days. Courier shipments outside Poland: 3-5 business days.
Each Bookiversum box is hand-packed in a beautiful box with the Bookiversum logo. The box is then wrapped in bubble wrap and secured with a shipping box and plastic corners. We ensure aesthetics and safety of the shipment.
After removing the bubble wrap and shipping box, the boxes are ready to be given as gifts. After your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number, which allows you to track its status in real time.
SECTION 9 – USER REVIEWS AND CONTENT
Customers may post product reviews. Reviews must not violate the law or good manners. The Seller may remove reviews that violate the Terms and Conditions.
SECTION 10 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content in the Store is the property of the Seller. Copying, distributing, or using this content without the Seller's consent is prohibited.
SECTION 11 - LIABILITY
The Seller is not liable for interruptions in the Store's operation resulting from force majeure. The Seller is not liable for the actions of courier companies after the shipment has been delivered to them.

SECTION 13 - FINAL PROVISIONS
The Terms and Conditions are subject to change. Changes do not affect orders placed before their entry into force. In matters not regulated, Polish and EU law shall apply.
